Guangdong Cantonese Opera Theatre's actor Peng Qinghua won the China Theatre Plum Blossom Award!

【文化艺术】广东粤剧院演员彭庆华成功摘“梅”

On May 21, the 30th China Theatre Plum Blossom Award was announced in Nanjing, Jiangsu. Peng Qinghua, a national-level actor of the Guangdong Cantonese Opera Theatre, successfully picked the “blossom”!

Influenced by his family, Peng Qinghua has been interested in martial arts and opera since he was a child, moreover, he continues to experiment with new and different styles with Cantonese opera, such as incorporating Wing Chun into his opera performances.

When asked how he felt winning the award, he said, “This award is a powerful recognition and inspiration for me personally, for Guangdong Cantonese Opera Theatre and even for the Guangdong Cantonese Opera community!”

5月21日，第30届中国戏剧梅花奖在江苏南京揭晓，广东粤剧院国家一级演员彭庆华成功摘“梅”！彭庆华受家学熏陶，从小喜欢武术和戏曲；在粤剧表演道路上，他不断探索，大胆创新，将咏春拳法融入戏曲表演，形成极具自我特色的舞台表演风格。

谈及获得梅花奖的感受时，他说：“这个奖项对于我个人、对于广东粤剧院乃至广东粤剧界来说，都是一份厚重的认同和鼓舞！”
