4月23日，正值第26个世界读书日。

想起过去一年广东人的“阅读”生活，我们忘不了湖北籍务工人员吴桂春在东莞图书馆的深情留言；忘不了广州图书馆刚刚出炉的数据显示，已有四分之一的广州市民成为公共图书馆注册读者；忘不了在南粤大地城乡，如雨后春笋般成长起来的“网红书店”、“阅读空间”、读书会……

多种多样的公共文化服务，正在成为市民与图书馆之间、市民与阅读之间的一道桥梁。

据当当、阿里巴巴、京东、天猫、拼多多等多个平台发布的不同年份全国阅读报告显示，广东读者规模屡次位居全国第一。

Thinking of how Guangdong people read in the past year, there are so many things we should remember. We cannot forget the sincere message sent to the Dongguan Library by Wu Guichun, a Hubei migrant worker, in order to show his appreciation; Also, the data recently released by the Guangzhou library indicated that one quarter of Canton citizens have become registered readers of public libraries; We also should not forget that how “Popular Bookstore”, “Public Reading Space”, and self-organized reading seminars helped to raise awareness of reading in both urban and rural areas of South Guangdong.

A variety of public cultural services are becoming connecting between citizens and libraries, and also citizens and reading.

According to the national reading reports published by various online shopping platforms such as Dangdang, Alibaba, Jingdong, Tmall, pinduoduo recent years, Guangdong has ranked top in China in terms of readers scale.
