Double-deck buses, free coaches soon touring Hengqin

"Fun Hengqin" tour coaches will be free of charge to Zhuhai and Macao residents and tourists during the Feb 11-17 Spring Festival holiday, while sightseeing double-deckers are introduced at a charge only 5 yuan (80 cents).

Both the coach and double-decker loops start and end at the Sumcheetah no-power-type amusement facility. Stops are at the Qian Yuan Hotel, Xiangzhou Port Culture Block (China Red Sandalwood Museum Hengqin Branch), Novotown, Hengqin Ferry Terminal, Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, Shenjing Village, Sumlodol Hengqin Ferry Terminal Rest Station, Hengqin Checkpoint, Flower Corridor, and Mangzhou Wetland Park.

Tour coaches will run hourly from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm, and the final run at 8 pm will not stop at Flower Corridor and Mangzhou Wetland Park. The double-deckers will have hourly runs between 10 am and 7 pm.

Sightseeing double-deckers are themed Undersea World, Cartoon Gallery, or Island Scenery. Passengers will have sunlit views and breezes on board via the large panoramic windows on the second deck, or explore Hengqin Island via virtual reality devices. There is limitless boarding within 24 hours of ticket purchase.

Some passengers will be treated to flash mob performances during the holiday, according to Da Heng Qin Pan-Tourism Development.
